Being a client

We are redefining the client-advisor relationship

We listen more.

First, you’ll notice that we listen. A lot. And we ask a lot of questions. That’s the best way for us to get to know you and your family and truly understand your plans for your money and your future.

A well-designed portfolio reflects your plans and the level of risk you’re comfortable with. By asking the right questions, we can explore your unique financial opportunities and challenges and arrive at the most effective solutions.

We help you understand more.

Building the right portfolio is an essential part of what we do and the cornerstone of your financial success. But our responsibility to you goes further.

We make every effort to communicate complex matters in plain language, so you can feel engaged and in control. It’s why we take the extra time to explain the strategy behind the decisions. And it’s why we’ve developed easy-to-read client reports that clearly show you how your portfolio measures up to industry benchmarks and the goals you’ve set.

We reach out more.

As a boutique firm, we feel we're the perfect size for clients who demand attentive, personalized service, but who also need an advisor with the experience and resources to handle their most complex financial issues.  When you work with us, you get big-firm benefits, but you still get boutique service, so you can pick up the phone and talk to us any time.

And our difference goes deeper. We take the initiative. So don’t be surprised when we reach out to you. It’s because we’re thinking about you and your money—even when you’re not.

Our Process

During our initial discovery meeting we focus on getting to know you, understand your goals, values and establish a financial snapshot of where you are in your journey, for some we can help establish actionable steps after that meeting.  For more complex portfolios we will schedule a second meeting to review your current retirement income plan and our diagnosis.  After establishing a mutual commitment we will have a final meeting to establish the new plan and our ongoing goals to discuss more in depth.
